Bark in the Park

Join the Peoria Humane Society for the 26th annual Bark in the Park on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Tower Park in Peoria Heights. Animal lovers of all ages will be gathering with their dogs at this year’s Bark in the Park to help animals in our community, with the proceeds supporting the PHS’s prevention of animal cruelty, rehabilitation of sick and injured shelter animals, promotion of pets for adoption, pet therapy visits, humane education, training for volunteers, and spay/neuter assistance for dogs and cats.

Bark in the Park will begin at 10:00 am at Tower Park and activities will continue until 1 pm with the parade starting at 12. Event fun includes a Marvelous Mutt Show, dog Olympics, paw-print painting, food vendors, pet-related exhibitors, raffle baskets, and more! Dogs are invited to participate in this year’s Marvelous Mutt Show, with prizes to be awarded in the following categories; Fastest Tail Wagger, Best Costume, Longest Ears, Dog/Owner Look-A-Like, Best Trick, and Bad Hair Day.
