Thursday the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office was called to assist Peoria County Animal Protection Services (PCAPS) on an animal abuse case at 219 W. South Street, Princeville, Illinois. In a shed located on the property, deputies discovered 12 dogs. One dog was deceased. The others were malnourished and covered in feces and flies.
